Description
Disclaimer: We do NOT ship citrus trees to Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Texas, or anywhere outside of the US.
We carry two strains of Ichang papeda: CRC 2431 and CRC 3931. CRC 2431 is juiceless and best as an ornamental. CRC 3931 contains juice and is supposedly lemon-like in taste.
Yuzu is a likely hybrid between Mandarin and Ichang papeda. The fragrance is pleasantly floral and the taste is similar to a cross between lemon and lime.
Clem-yuz 2-2 aka Ten Degree Tangerine is a hybrid between a Yuzu and clementine. The fruit quality is excellent, and the flavor is similar to a tangerine but more sour.
Ichang lemon is a likely hybrid between a Yuzu or Ichang papeda and pummelo. It is very similar to Yuzu, but much larger and juicier.
Sudachi is a hybrid between Mandarin and Yuzu. The taste is similar to a lime but more complex.
These plants are recommended for growing outdoors in plant hardiness zones 8-10 or 7-9 for Ichang papeda. To find out your plant hardiness zone, use this link: https://planthardiness.ars.usda.gov/
Rootstocks for 1 quart and 1 gallon plants are: trifoliate orange and Taiwanica lemon.
